Artist Statement
My work emerges as a space of constant transformation where landscape, emotion, and memory intertwine. Through organic gestures, layers of color, and forms that seem to mutate between the vegetal, the corporeal, and the atmospheric, I construct sensitive territories that speak about the inner states of human experience. My practice begins with the observation of nature not as a literal representation, but as a living organism charged with energy, tension, and change. In my paintings appear references to growth, erosion, fragility, and strength, elements that dialogue with emotional experiences, fragmented memories, and moments of transition in life. My painting maintains a connection with classical references to landscape and gestural painting, while shifting them toward a more intuitive and contemporary language, where forms seem to emerge and dissolve simultaneously. The brushstroke functions almost as an emotional register; a kind of living writing that documents movement, transformation, and memory. Between abstraction and figuration, I seek to create spaces in tension: environments where beauty and unease, growth and rupture, calm and overflow coexist. Each painting becomes an open process in which matter and gesture reveal the possibility of constant change.
